built the same online as in store

Pepper Lunch sells an experience: a hot plate you finish cooking yourself. Moving ordering online risked flattening that into a plain menu. The brief was web and QR ordering that keeps the personality while getting people past the queue.

The approach

We designed the customiser around the plate, so building your order online feels like the in-store choice, not a form. It runs the same from a QR scan at the table or from the web, with checkout a tap away and no app to download.

What shipped

A web and QR ordering experience that lets diners customise every plate, order for the table or ahead, and pay quickly, carrying the cook-it-yourself feel online.
