The short version
This site has no accounts, no sign-in, and no forms. We do not ask you for your name, your email, or anything else. One third party, Microsoft Clarity, receives data about how you use the site so we can see which pages are working. That is the whole of it.
Analytics
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how people move through the site: which case studies get read, where people stop scrolling, what gets clicked. Clarity records a reconstruction of your visit, so we can watch a replay of the pages you saw and the way you moved through them.
Clarity captures your interactions along with device and browser information, your approximate location inferred from your IP address, and the pages you visit. It sets two first-party cookies, _clck and _clsk, which it uses to recognise a returning browser and to group a single visit together. Microsoft is a joint controller of this data. Their handling of it is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement, and the product is documented at clarity.microsoft.com.
We do not use this data to identify you, we do not sell it, and we do not combine it with anything else. It exists so we can make the site better.
How to opt out
Clarity does not run until you say so. On your first visit we ask, with a small banner in the corner of the screen, and nothing loads until you answer. ChooseDecline and it never runs this visit or any future one, until you change your mind. Choose Accept and it starts right away. Either way we remember your choice, so you are only asked once.
Changed your mind? Cookie preferences, in the footer at the bottom of any page, reopens the banner so you can pick again.
If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we skip the question entirely and never load Clarity. Brave and DuckDuckGo send this signal by default; Firefox offers it underPrivacy & Security → Tell websites not to sell or share my data. That signal already answers the question a banner would otherwise ask, so if it is present you will not see one.
Blocking clarity.ms in any content blocker has the same effect, as does browsing in a mode that rejects cookies.
Cookies
The only cookies this site sets are the two Clarity cookies described above. There are no advertising cookies, no tracking pixels, and no third-party embeds. We do not use Google Analytics, Google Fonts, or any social media widget. The single typeface is served from our own domain, so no font provider sees your visit.
Hosting
The site is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes the network requests needed to deliver a page to you, which necessarily includes your IP address. We do not run our own server-side logging or analytics on top of that.
When you email us
Every contact route on this site is a plain mailto: link, so writing to us sends an ordinary email from your own mail client. We keep that correspondence in order to reply to it and to run any project that comes of it. We do not add you to a mailing list, because we do not have one.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what data exists about you, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Because we hold no accounts and collect nothing that identifies you directly, in most cases the answer is that there is nothing of yours for us to look up. For anything held by Microsoft Clarity, requests are best directed to Microsoft, who control it. Write to [email protected] and we will help where we can.
Changes
If we add something that collects data, a contact form or a second analytics tool, this page changes at the same time rather than afterwards. The date at the top is the last time it did.
